Matthew Ravden

Matt has spent over twenty years in the PR industry, building businesses and winning pitches for clients of all shapes and sizes.

Matt started his career at tech PR agency Text 100 in 1985, and was running the EMEA business ten years later, having worked with the likes of Microsoft and Intel. He then took a spin-off team out of Text 100 to pitch for the Apple account, won against all the odds, and Bite Communications was formed. In the ensuing three years, Bite went from maverick start-up to one of the most formidable agencies in the UK, having successfully pitched for a range of blue chip clients including Oracle, ICL, BT, Toshiba and HP. Bite only lost two pitches in those three years. Matt then spent four years living in Sydney and opening Text 100 offices across Asia, before returning to the UK and writing a novel (called BlokeMiles).

He has been working with jfdi® since April 2008, helping PR agencies win more new business and streamline their new business operations.
